1. Regulatory Signs

Regulatory signs are used to control the actions of road users. This used to control the drivers and other users actions in the road in UAE. This is applicable by law and it clearly states what action you can perform and what prohibited. Suppose if you want to know how much speed you can follow in some roads, the speed limit sign will inform you that. Prohibitory Sign

They indicate prohibited actions or objects, so as to indicate road users about actions they should not take or which are prohibited. 3. Guide Signs

Guide signs provide direction. That include information about route numbers street numbers etc. These signs

  • Help drivers with information
  • Provide relevant information on the road
  • Helps to find the destination
  • Give advance notice to drivers to make the directional changes easy
Guide Signs in different backround colors 1. For National route it is in Blue color 2. for local routes it will in Green color with the city route emblem. 3. In order to show local points roads or destinations it will bein White color 4. Brown will be used to provide additional information including symbols to describe the destination

Trailblazing Guide Signs

Trailblazing signs have distinctive and recognizable symbols on them and are placed along a route to guide and reassure drivers that they are on the correct road to reach their required destination.
