How do you face a traffic signal

You have to face traffic signal while final driving test so it is vital to do the stopping and proceeding as per the traffic manual and examiner will watch you how do you performing same

When you see a traffic light, stop your car at the white line or crosswalk. Make sure you're stopped before the line so you have a good view of the light and any signs.

While you're stopped, keep your car straight and in the middle of your lane. This helps you see the light and other cars better. Also, stay a safe distance behind the car in front of you to avoid accidents.

Keep an eye on what's happening around you, like other cars, people walking, or bikes. Be ready to react if something changes suddenly.

When the light changes, follow what it says. Green means go if it's safe. Yellow means slow down and get ready to stop. Red means stop behind the line and wait for green.



Traffic lights are mainly for controlling the movement of traffic. They are commonly placed on roads at intersections and crossings. Traffic signals regulate traffic and also help to avoid heavy traffic blocks and various road accidents. Traffic signals are mainly based on three color lights. They are red, yellow and green. But each signal has a different meaning.

The red signal signifies to stop behind the stop line, the yellow signal denotes to wait or go slow, and the green signal indicates that the way is clear and the vehicles are allowed to go ahead.

As mentioned earlier, traffic signals help to control the flow of vehicles and pedestrians on roads. There are different types of traffic signals for specific purposes. The first one is the traffic control signal which is mainly for regulating the flow of the vehicle at intersections, and also for the safety of road users. Traffic control signals consist of red, yellow, and green. Then we have the pedestrians' signal which is for pedestrians can cross or not cross the lane signal. 

Then we have a special signal or flashing signal that is used in specific situations such as school zones, construction zones, and emergency vehicle preemption.  A person can not drive as he wishes. He has to follow strictly the traffic signal to avoid road hazards and also prevent collisions. Traffic signals also can reduce traffic jams. 

As we all know traffic signals can reduce various road hazards and vehicle collisions.
