Take out from the parking yard

Once your turn arrives, you have to take out the car from the parking yard and drive. You should be very careful and follow all the necessary rules and traffic signs at this stage.

Once you understand the tips and tricks of this, it will not be a difficult task.

As a new driver, everyone's concern would be how to exit the parking space, especially during the driving examination. In this case, you need not worry about this, instead of that you have to try to be calm and tension free mind. It's actually very simple and easy but only when you are trying to clearly understand the tips and methods. Even though we need the correct practice of everything before we drive a vehicle.

Why do we feel it's a difficult part of driving because there will be many vehicles around us and we have to take out of our car very carefully and safely. Let's see how to exit a vehicle from the parking space.

You need to know these things before taking out your car from the parking yard

First of all, The wheel should be straight before you start moving the car. The first thing you have to make sure that all your wheels are straight. The next step is reverse or back up. Before you reverse your car and ensure that there are no pedestrians or kids behind your car. You can reverse your car depending on the space, but make sure that you never hit the car behind you. When you are taking out your car from the parking spot then you can turn the steering wheel to where you want to move. And before you move, signal your intention to move so that will help other drivers to know that you are moving onto the main traffic.

Things to do before taking out the car from the parking yard

  • Put the car in reverse
  • Check your surroundings
  • Start backing out slowly
  • Align front and rear bumpers
  • Turn the steering wheel
  • Back out slowly & stop
  • Put the car in drive
  • Pull forward and join the right lane

The first thing we have to keep in our mind is that we are going to reverse the car in order to back out slowly so we have to ensure that there are no pedestrians, kids, or any other vehicles coming from both sides. We should check and make sure that everything is clear and safe to move our car.

After that, you can start to back out slowly. Then you need to put the signal on for other drivers to know that you are intended to move the vehicle. Then the next step is to start steering your wheel to the opposite side where you intend to go. When you take out the car from the parking yard don't forget to turn off the signal.

After that, steer the wheel completely to the opposite if you are going to the right then the bumper of your vehicle has to go to the left, then you gradually start letting go of the brakes. When you let go of the brakes and the steering wheels completely to the left. Your vehicle will then do a circular movement and land in the direction where you intend to go like the right side when you do this make sure that you are slowly backing up because you need to be looking at your surroundings each time.

While doing these steps we will not use the accelerator of our vehicle at any moment throughout the steps.

When your car faces the right side, let go of the brakes then move your vehicle gradually to the right side lane. While doing these steps don't try to accelerate very fast because it will cause you to lose control of the vehicle. When you are completely turned to the right side and you feel like your car is ready to move forward then you can gradually and carefully start to accelerate the vehicle and drive forward.

Never do these things while taking out the car from the parking yard

  • Do not turn your vehicle very fastly

  • We will never use our accelerator before completing the process
  • Do not try to reverse your vehicle very fastly because it will cause you to hit the vehicle behind you.
